Frustration

What's causing frustration across the U.S. and in numerous other places around the world?

The work of some damned Romanian hackers!

:-p

On the upside, which is more important, I had a most lovely weekend.

The hacker wars will continue, and escalate, as technology becomes more of a fundamental tool for personal and economic communication and transaction. These e-conflicts have been topics of conversation in the tech industry for more than 10 years.

In 1994 William Gibson published "Neurmancer", and sold the screenplay for "Johnny Neumonic"- tales of memetic subterfuge and the social reconstruction that grew from it.

The developing forms of dynamic sabotage (terrorism- says the Hegemon) are now emerging as a serious consideration to not only maintaining the stability of the net we have now, but will govern the rate and scope of it's future potential.

Hatred unabated, whether expressed in terms of real or virtual violence and destruction, will not only frustrate our use of the dynamic resources we have now, but will stunt their potential growth from what could be magnificent and benevolent into something that will render itself useless by the necessity of fear-imposed limitations.
